Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for May 2014 are summarized below.
I. Production
Note: As of January 2007, overseas production figures are based on Mazda brand units coming off the production line (does not include CKD units).
1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in May 2014 increased 4.8% compared to May 2013 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Mazda's overseas production volume in May 2014 increased 6.5% year-on-year due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

II. Domestic sales
Mazda's total domestic sales volume in May 2014 decreased 19.5% year-on year, due to decreased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.1% (down 0.8 points year-on-year), with a 2.4% share of the micro mini segment (down 0.8 points year-on-year) and a 3.9% total market share (down 0.9 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
Mazda's export volume in May 2014 decreased 5.9% year-on-year, reflecting decreased shipments to North America, Oceania and other regions.
